It is the first epidemiological survey on female sexual behavior, conducted in an Arab-African musulmo, with 800 women in the wilaya of Grand Casablanca, aged 20 to 80 years, the average age being 37 years, all social classes. 29% of these women are illiterate, 14% were over 12 years of study and 57% less than 12 years. 78% of these women are unemployed, 15% and 7% are civil servants or high school students. 58% of women are married, 24% were single, 1% cohabiting, 6% were divorced, separated 1% and 10% are widowed.

It appears from this study that talking about sex remains a taboo. Knowledge about the reality of sexual practices are very limited.
